Universal Gateway Co., Ltd. (UG) is a business-development company spanning five domains: intellectual property, advanced technology, regenerative medicine, regional development, and finance. Its corporate registration is placed in the Tohoku region — a strategic decision rooted in the social demonstration of a public-collaboration model — while its activities extend nationwide.
全国地方のプロジェクトごとにSPC（特定目的会社）またはSPV（特別目的事業体）を組成し、地域金融機関・行政・産業事業者と協業するPFI型長期回収モデルを展開する。これがUGグループの金融事業の主な仕組みである。
For each regional project nationwide, UG forms an SPC (special-purpose company) or SPV (special-purpose vehicle) and develops a PFI-style long-term recovery model in collaboration with regional financial institutions, government, and industry operators. This is the principal mechanism of the UG Group's financial business.
